What Does Being BOLD Mean to You?

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Leigh Burgess on 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘓𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘥𝘤𝘢𝘴𝘵. We talked about what being BOLD means to each of us. For me, it means unabashedly going after something when you're not quite sure what the outcome will be.

I've made a few bold career moves over the years:

🔸 Leaving Coca-Cola, one of the world's most admired companies, to go to work for Moviefone, an early-stage internet company in the late 90s. 😳
🔸 Leaving Time Inc. (and a job where I would always get a call back!) to go out on my own and build a startup investing practice 😱
🔸 After traditionally publishing my first book with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, taking a chance on an independent woman-owned publisher, Angela Engel, who is taking a different (and bold!) approach to publishing. 📚
